Registration & Information Bureau at the conference
will be located at the Student Centre in UCD.
Hours of opening
Saturday: 30th August 2003, 14.00- 20.00
Sunday-Tuesday, 31st August 2nd Sept 2003,
08.00- 18.00
Wednesday, 3rd September 2003, 08.00- 13.00
At the Registration and Information
desk, delegates will receive a Conference Satchel, Conference identification
badge, Invitations, Conference Programme, Book of papers and useful
tourist information.
Certificates of Attendance,
Certificates of Attendance will be available upon request from the
Registration Desk
Identification Badges
Name Badges must be worn at all times to ensure admission to scientific
programme, lunch, social programme and trade exhibition.
Smoking Policy
Smoking in public buildings is forbidden by law, except in designated
areas.
Coffee/Tea/Lunch
For delegates attending the Conference coffee and tea will be provided
free during the morning and afternoon sessions and lunch will be
provided free from Sunday, 3lst August to Tuesday 2nd September,
inclusive.
Official Language
The official language of the conference is English.
Climate & Dress
Casual dress is acceptable for all but the most formal of occasions,
e.g. the State Reception in Dublin Castle (lounge suit or national
costume for men).
Irish weather is variable and often
windy. Sunny spells and showers are normal for August, with temperatures
of up to 20 degrees C. Delegates are advised to bring rain attire
and sweaters for the excursions.
