General Information

Passports/Visas: All nationalities visiting Ireland require valid passports. Information on those nationalities requiring a visa may be obtained from the Irish Tourist Board or Irish Embassy. (http://www.ireland.travel.ie)

Insurance: The Organising Committee will not be responsible for any medical expenses, loss or accidents during the Conference and we recommend that participants insure themselves in this respect.

Banking & Local Currency
Banks are open from 10.00 - 16.00, Monday to Friday and until 17.00 on Thursdays. There is a branch of Allied Irish Banks and Bank of Ireland on Campus.
The currency in Ireland is Euro. Check the Euro exchange rate here.

Medical facilities
If you require medical attention please contact the REGISTRATION DESK who will arrange for medical assistance. In case of emergency call 8666, (Emergency Services Number for UCD) and request an ambulance. The nearest hospital is St. Vincent's University Hospital in Elm Park, Dublin 4. Main Switchboard telephone number is: (01) 2694533.
