Central Remedial Clinic, Clontarf

The Central Remedial Clinic is a non-residential national centre for the care, treatment and development of children and adults with physical and multiple disabilities. Services at the Clinic include Medical Services, clinical assessment, therapy services, orthotics, technical services, seating, orthopaedics, paediatrics, Day Centres, vocational training, schools and a range of other services.

The Client Technical Services Department provides for professional evaluation and information relating to assistive technology to both children and adults with physical disabilities. Assistive technology includes a range of technologies which enable people to participate in the home, school, work and also community environments.

The Central Remedial School in Dublin provides for the needs of children with physical disabilities from the ages of 3 - 18 years. The CRC educational environment provides for the students' special needs through a number of support services including the Client Technical Services.
