Integration of Technology

Finally, at the third level of integration, the assistive technology needs of individual students were assessed and provided for through a range of hardware and software solutions. To facilitate the process of the project and as a basis for a pre- and post questionnaire, the MPT (Matching Person with Technology) instrument was used and validated for use in an Irish context. The MPT instruments connect technology use with the environment, the personal characteristics and the quality of life of the user.
