Donation process in a nutshell
Donors inform the RT Center about locations, quantities and equipment specifications.
Prospective donors need to meet nominal Hardware Donation Requirements.
Once confirmed, donors can drop off the equipment to a specified site or request a pickup from Rehab Recycle.
Contact 01 4528119 or Email donations@rehabrecycle.ie for pickup requests.
Once the equipment is received, RT Center provides donors with a receipt acknowledging their donation.
Does RT Center charge for its services?
No, the RT Center does not charge donors or partner organizations for its services.
I'm not a company, can I still donate?
Yes! In fact, individual donors like you is what allows RT Center to help so many people all over the country.

What hardware can I Donate?
The RT Center accepts a wide variety of items; a list of common donation items include: computer desktop and laptop systems, base units, optical drives, PC components, keyboards, modems, monitors, mice.
For both desktop and laptop systems, only Intel Pentium III and better or equivalent AMD systems are accepted.
Monitor must be in good condition and working.
RT Center does NOT accept printers, scanners and similar peripherals.

Can I get more details on the online donation process?
You may enter your donation online using this link. You will be asked to fill in two short forms that list your contact details and the donation information.
Once you submit the details, Donor ID will be created for you and you will be sent a confirmation email.
You may use your Donor ID for any future donations or any inquiries about your donation.
How do I apply to receive donations through RT Center?
Organizations that would like to join receive hardware through the RT Center must contact us first, more details here.
Priority is given to organisations responsible for fostering the training of people with special needs in educational or training environments.
I have some old hardware I want to give away - why do I need to comply with Hardware Donation Requirements?!
RT Center's aim is to match its network partners' needs against offered donations, hence some nominal technical specifications must be met for the actual donation to be accepted by RT Center. All the received systems are refurbished and delivered to eligible recipients. Non-working systems are recycled through Rehab Recycle.
Only the donations that meet our current hardware donation requirements will be accepted. The donation requirements may change without notice.
